Acolytes play a vital role in the worship life of Saint Michael & All Angels, helping to lead the congregation in prayer and praise through their faithful service at the altar. Ask Verger or MC if there are any changes to the service to be aware of.

Check diagrams to be sure know where stopping during opening and closing procession

Discuss what height torches will be held to be even

The GCX should get the clicker prior to service.

Always look to verger for movement on entering and retiring

Always mirror other cross team

The PCX and GCX signals the acolytes whenever they kneel.

The GCX team processes the Gospel Procession

The GCX counts the Epistle Side during Communion (do not count priests)

When casually carrying the cross/torches, do not carry it horizontally or behind you because it can hit someone. Always keep them upright!
