Grab book from behind reredos (behind alter in church)

Check that the bookmark is set for the service’s reading. If not, alert a V/MC.

Check diagrams to determine where standing during each entry and during gospel

Procession and puts book on corner of alter to place book upright facing out and slightly open so it does not fall

Gospel procession - it is helpful to put a finger in the book where the reading is

After reading step back and to the right between the torch and cross

Places book flat on the corner of the alter with front of book looking flat
