Best Practices

Arrive 30 minutes before the service time. If you’re late you might not receive an assignment.

Actions by two or more acolytes should be performed with the highest degree of uniformity whenever possible. Standing and sitting at the same time as other acolytes and the clergy is a basic.
 

When Acolytes approach the Altar Rail to kneel, the Processional Cross Crucifer should hold his hand out and motion downwards. At this point all the Acolytes should kneel together.
 

Remember, this is a place of spiritual worship. Please keep your voices low and talking to a minimum. Inappropriate language will not be tolerated. Please refrain from comments and actions that will detract from focusing on our preparation and service to the Glory of God.
