Leader: The Lord be with you.

 

Response: And with thy Spirit

 

Leader: Let us pray.

You have chosen me Lord,

to stand in your presence and that of all your saints and angels,

to serve you and this congregation before your altar.

 

Be present, Jesus,

that I may faithfully and reverently perform the duties of my ministry.

That with diligence and humility,

I may aid your people in their worship.

 

So that in this and all things you will be honored.

 

Amen
